Nuesca, Knowles top Takbo NAPO run

DAVAO CITY – Gil Nuesca and balikbayan Miriam Llavor-Knowles shared top honors in the Takbo Napo Fun Run held recently from SM City Ecoland to the Angel’s Hideaway in Matina Aplaya.
Nuesca of Beta Psi ruled the men’s category. Ultramarathoner Ego Lanorias, also of Beta Psi finished second followed by Gil Wee of Beta Rho.
Llavor-Knowles of Alpha Omicron and the United Kingdom Alumni Association of Alpha Phi Omega (APO) Fraternity International, won the distaff side. She was followed by Maria Concepcion Cruz-Basa of Epsilon Kappa and Gemma Pardillo of Beta Upsilon and APO ng Dabaw Alumni Association, as second and third, respectively.
The 4.5-kilometer footrace was part of this year’s annual APOlympics hosted by the Beta Phi Chapter headed by its president Noel Espina in coordination with the ANDAA led by lawyer Joey Felizarta and Southeastern Mindanao Region under Section 2 chair Eden Ascano. LDR
