Trip ko Phoenix loop semifinals Dec. 9

DAVAO CITY – The much-awaited semifinal round in the 5th Conference of the Trip ko Phoenix Fuels Basketball Cup will be played this Sunday, December 9 at the Almendras gym.
Barangay Sasa powered by Cyclomax 4T Force plays Talomo-Cyclomax Titan in the first game at 7 a.m. 
The other semifinal match set at 8:30 a.m. pits Bucana-2T Max against Duterte-Accelerate Supreme.
The winners will vie for the title while the losers will collide for third place.
Duterte topped the elimination round with a record of six wins against only one loss to take the no. 1 spot followed by Sasa, Talomo and Bucana in that order with identical 5-2 win-loss slates.
Already eliminated in the 16-under basketball tournament of the Liga ng mga Barangay are the four teams from Catalunan Grande (3-4), Buhangin (2-5), Bankerohan (1-6) and R. Castillo (1-6).\
The league is held in cooperation with ABC President Paolo “Pulong” Duterte and is sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) under Regional Director Regino Cua. LITO DELOS REYES
